Introduction
Cocoon Therapy ("we", "us") keeps your records private and shares them only as the law allows. This policy explains what this website collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the details you type: your name, email address, phone number, your preferred way and time to be reached, and your message. Please don't include medical details in it. This website does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or session recordings, and it has no embedded scheduler.
How we use it
We use what you send to reply to you and to arrange a first session. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Messages are read by Dr. Newsome and the practice's own staff. We share information with someone else only with your written permission or where the law requires it, such as serious danger to a person or concern about a child's safety.
Phone and voicemail
Voicemail isn't monitored around the clock. Please don't leave medical details in a voicemail, and don't use it in an emergency.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details you sent through this website, and to stop any messages from us. Write to us using the details on the Contact page, and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect messages from loss or misuse. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please keep what you send brief.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
